V2V of Linux machines

Hi,

I need to V2V Fedora linux fromESX 2.5 to ESX 3.5. We have done it for windows servers without any issue. I have not done V2V for Linux machines.

We will start V2V from VC 2.5 providing the hostnames of the windows servers.

Can you please let me know if the above process is correct and let me know if there is a best practice to do this activity.

Thanks

Hello,

VMotion/MIgrate/Clone/VMware Converter all work for me flawlessly with LInux VMs. Treat them just like any other VM.

you also might consider using VMware Converter 4 for your Linux VM's.
