Upgrading from 3.0.1 to 3.5

Quick question, am I able to upgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.5? I am planning on building out a new 3 node cluster running version 3.5. The vm's that run on the 3.0.1 cluster are mainly on NFS stores. I was hoping to simply create the new cluster, use a new server for VC, set it all up. Then mount the NFS partitions and start the vm's up on the new cluster.

Has anyone done that? Not sure if the vm's have to be upgraded, etc.

You don't have to do anything to the VM's per se, but you should upgrade the VM tools.

Other than that, since you are upgrading/install a new VC, then you should be fine with upgrade to 3.5. Use the CD instead of the upgrade file, it's much easier.
