Hi
I have 2 servers running an expired version of ESX 3.5. My VMs are on the local storage of each server.My servers are compatible with vpshere 5.1.
I need to upgrade to vpshere 5 or 5.1.
I have considered upgrade path from 3.5 to evaluation ESX 4.0 using the cd and then to vsphere 5.Would that be fine ?
Also I needed to know if an upgrade can be done for an expired version of esx 3.5 .. to ESX 4 (60 days evaluation) ..
Could some1 suggest me options as a shared storage is not available at the moment and one of the VM's in my present environment has powered off and im unable to power it back on as it says licenses have expired .
