Updating and Patching ESX 3.5.0

Jump to solution

What is the best way to update a standalone ESX 3.5 Server. We normally do our updates through VC but this server is standalone and is not managed by VC. Can I download the latest update from the VMWare website and what is the best way to install the updates?

Thanks

The best way is to connect ESX to VC and use update manager.

Thanks - Does this mean that you need to apply all of the patches individually? Is there no method of just applying all available updates?
