Update information in Service Console with Cisco Discovery Protocol

I've changed my ESX host's uplink to a new Cisco Switch, but I can't get the new network information in VI Client. Does anybody know how to update it in Service Console? I tried esxcfg-vswitch -B down vSwitch0; esxcfg-vswitch -B both vSwitch0, but it didn't work.

Is CDP running on the new switch? As far as I know it runs CDP per default on Cisco devices, but this could have been disabled globally or on the switch port, where your host is connected.

Verify by doing a "show cdp" and "show cdp interface" on the switch..
