Update Manager

hello everyone,

please can someone help me i'm tearing my hair out here lol, if i try to scan one of my hosts then i get "VMware Update Manager had a failure".

i have looked in the knowledge base and tried the workarounds but still no luck,

if i scan my VMs then it works fine.

plus one thing i did notice was, in update manager, in the baselines its shows a number for update against the VM baseline but it shows 0 updates against the hosts baseline

any help would be grateful

thanks

Hostname resolution issue

dns is correct but have put addresses into host file just to make sure still nothing

More than one IP address on VirtualCenter Server

my VC server only has one active connection but has 2 NICs 1 unpluged
