I'm looking into using VC cloning to give me a failover option in case my primary VC VM blows up but in my testing, Update Manager won't work on the cloned VM (everything else looks pretty much sorted).
I've edited the xml file to register the new IP of the second VC VM and I'm pointing to the original VC and UM databases - service starts ok but am unable to add the UM plugin to VI Client.
Am running VC 2.5 U2 and ESX 3.5 U3.
Any ideas?
