Hi Newbie so please be nice,
I have setup a vlan in esx3.5 called vlan2 and it goes through to my Netgear switch and that is on vlan2 and then this goes to a Netgear router out to internet.
All works fine on an xp machine as it gets IP from the Netgear router. When I create a vista vm it can't seem to find the vlan2 at all. I have searched the web and tried loads of things including turning off IPV6, turn off the DHCP Flag, re-installed the latest network drivers, installed all the latest vista updates, rebooted loads of times after everything I try. If I ad anotehr network card and tell to connected to the production network it does that fine (Hence how I updated it).
Still not luck, any pointers or the answer really appreciated.
