We've got a primary and backup VI3 farm at two different locations, both connected to identically configured IBM SANs. We have async mirroring configured and running and it appears to have replicated the data to the remote SAN.
The problem we are having is that when we get HBAs in the backup servers to scan the backup SAN LUNs (which are mapped identically to the primary unit) we can see the LUNs but not the datastores or the VMs.
We have suspended the mirror while we do this and even broken the mirror leaving the data on the backup SAN as a standalone LUN. We still cannot discover/mount/use any of the datastores.
I think I'm missing something obvious here but I just can't see it!!
Any pointers would be very gratefully received.
