Unable to Extent Datastore

Hello,

After expand a RAID 5 LUN on a MSA1000 SAN, I can see the new capacity on "Configuration - Hardware - Storage Adapters", but, when I go to "Storage (SCSI, SAN, and NFS) - Add Storage - Disk/LUN" nothing appears in Device Location. If I select "Diagnostic" as Storage Type, then the new free space is shown. The same happens if i try to extent directly from properties of Datastore.

Hi Lucanus,

Extending LUN does not automatically increase the size of VMFS volume,in VIC->storage->select appropriate datastore ,then go to add storage the extra free space added will be shown as new lun.
