USB support question

Does ESXServer 3.5 support USB?

No USB support for vm's in ESX 3.5.

But there are 3rd party solutions that support usb over ethernet.

(Having usb drivers within your vm, that talk to a usb hardware device in your lan.)

What about USB KVM's and USB Hard drives, can we use it for ESX 3.5 service console?? Does Vmware officially support using USB KVM and USB Hard drives??

You can use those devices on your service console. It's the integration of the USB with the guests that is not supported.
