Timeout when adding a storage

Hello,

When trying to add storage from VI client 2.0.2 I received the following error message :

"Time out waiting for server response".

This message appears on some ESX server 3.0.2 and does not on other ESX server 3.0.2.

Any ideas ?

fdisk -l

esxcfg-vmhbadevs -m

Are these shared luns? What storage have you there?

Which lun do you want to add there?

yes these LUNs are shared between 3 ESX hosts.

In fact I would like to see what options are available when adding a new storage using the VC. To date I always created new vmfs volumes with fdisk and vmkfstools. So I tried the VC to do so but I can't due to the error message.

At this time I have no new storage to add, but I am planning to add a new NFS storage.
