TimeZone and VT

Hi

Some one share this information to us

1) By Default we did not enable Virtualization technology in the Bios. Is it good advice to enable it

2) what is command to find timezone in ESX ? How do we change different ESX server to different time zone ?

3) Steps involved to configure NTP Server.

There have been debates as to the benefits of VT for 32 bit VM's. VT, however, is going to be requierd for 64-bit vm's. There are some memory management techniques that are in VT and is required for 64-bit vm's.

To get timezone from console: cat /etc/sysconfig/clock (timezone is in there)

VMware's technology performs better without VT for 32 bit VMs, and indeed, ESX will not use VT for a 32bit VM, regardless of if its available. So, theres absolutely no reason to turn it off, and every reason to turn it on (64 bit VMs).
