The requested operation is not implemented by the server when trying to access ESX host with VI Client

Hi,

We are having problems with the VirtualCenter (which someone else is working on). I need to access some of the VMs and tried to connect via the VI client to all of ESX hosts. I get this error after I give it host name, username and password:

The requested operation is not implemented by the server.

I'm pretty sure I had this running within the last year.

Any thoughts as to why it is not working?

Thanks!

Hello.

How are you launching the client? Is it a shortcut with possibly some parameters in there? If so, try running it with no parameters.

Good Luck!

That was it. I had set up passthrough authentication to the VirtualCenter.

Thanks!
