The good 'ol days...!!

Got bored so I thought I would build a Windows for Workgroup 3.11 VM, complete with TCP/IP, IE, Sound, SVGA 1024x768 and a pretty background....

Working great...ok... off to customers site to drop some scares when I load it up to sort out there ESX Infrastructure out!!!!

Will the GUI load in IE 3? Smiley Wink

Yeah those were the days, everything was much simpler. I have copies of all the old Windows OS's. I was thinking of making a DOS 6.2 VM and NT 3.51, have my own OS VM museum. How did you get it to see the SCSI drive?

I've got the 3 disk set of DOS 6.22 somewhere - I found them in a draw a couple of weeks ago - and thought "I'll have them for nostaglia value"...

Not sure you would be able to load the 32-bit VI Client on WFW box!

Here's where I start to show my industry "age"... you would use the Win32 Subsystem package to add support for 32-bit executables on WFW. Smiley Happy
