Template deployment fails at 95%, why??

I keep having this issue with one of my templates: Template deployment fails at 95% with a Customization Failed error

1. I have multiple-checked that the licensing text box is CHECKED

2. I have verified that the VC server has valid temp and tmp folders set up

What else can/should I do??

Hard to believe Vmount etc. could be the issue because I have other

Win2k3 templates that deploy just fine, only just this one template that

fails. I do have a backup(s) that I will try restoring and then

re-deploying, too.

On the one KB where it says to do this:

1. Convert the template back into a virtual machine.

2. Remove the .vmdk file from the virtual machine.

3. Re-add the .vmdk back to the virtual machine

I tried this, I don't think I was successful in getting the vmdk file copied back and forth as the KB suggests.

Deployment still failed, I think I must give up on this particular template -- we are moving to ESX 4 before long and I will make new templates etc.
