Storage name change after adding esx4 to esx3.5 servers

I have just recently started adding esx 4 servers to my existing esx 3.5 infrastructure and as I am adding the san lunes to the esx 4 servers, the Names are changing from something like vmhba1:1:0 to DGC Fiber Channel Disk (naa.600.....) is this normal? Will this have any impact on my esx 3.5 servers? So far it does not appear to have any impact, all my VM's are still running just want to make sure if I end up rebooting a host I will still be able to see the storage. When looking at the storage on esx 3.5 it does show the new DGC ... name on each volume. The device field is where it is changing.

The naming scheme did change from 3.5 but shouldn't cause any issues. I haven't seen a lot of information on it but honestly up until I saw this post I hadn't though much about it. I did do a quick look tonight and found this blog post, http://geeksilver.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/vmware-vsphere-4-1-vs-esx-3-x-storage-identifier-understa...
