Storage VMotion - Moving a single disk

Do you know if you can migrate a second hard disk that belongs to a vm without moving the whole VM?

I have a drive which contains transaction logs that I would like to move to another volume if possible without downing the server?

I have tried it using the Lost Creations plug-in but it said that the features wasn't availiable I'm wondering if it could be done via command line?

You could remove it from the vm, then use the console to scp it to another volume, then add it back in again

From memory, you have to include the VM in all moves...

so we moved VM + both disks to new location

then moved VM + first disk back to original location leaving second disk behind.

(Not a problem if you are used to the Tower of Hanoi )
