Stopping Ha Service

Hello,

can i stop the ha service without any problems for the running vms inside the ha.

You can just unconfigure the host, right click unconfigure HA

hello,

i will disable HA for the complete farm. so it is possible to unckeck the box "Enable VMware HA" and all hosts and vms inside the farm running well?

with the right click option for the host i only can reconfigure for ha

yeah just unchek the box that will not affect any running vms

I don't think you can disable it on a per-host basis without removing the host from the cluster. Easiest method would be to right click -> edit settigns on teh cluster[/b] and then disable HA for the entire cluster temporarily. This won't have any effect on running VMs (except that HA won't fail them over on host failure of course).
