Starter and iscsi

Does starter version support iscsi?

It's not suppose to, but can't say I've tried, but that doesn't mean your VM's can't use a iSCSI software initiator. This would be the optimal in performance, but might fit your needs.

no it doesn't. it lets you discover your HBA card in the VIC but then throws up an error when you try to make a VM on the iscsi storage.

you can however use the s/w iscsi to store backups etc.

You could use iSCSI from within your guests. Microsoft has a very good iSCSI software initiator if you ise windows guests.
