SNMP monitoring not working for NICs

I have an HP DL380G5 with an onboard dual-port NIC and a separate dual-port NIC. I don't receive any alerts as to their health, good or bad. Also, when I unplug a cable on one of the ports, IFCONFIG still shows up as all ports are UP. These NICs are teamed. HP SIM will not pick up any snmp traps either.

Any ideas or knowledge to share would be appreciated. All other alerts are fine.

HP SIM v7.7.0 is being used. Anyone have any issues with this version at all?

Thanks

I can't comment on ifconfig, but our insight agents don't pick up on NIC status changes either. I can't find the post at the moment, but other people on these forums also have this the same issue. Annoying isn't it?
