Please help in explaining Resource Pools.
I am trying to setup Resource Pools for SRM failover so Protected Services to Recovered Services RPs, but when I add a VM into a "expandable" all Resource Pool, the following WARNING displays:
"The CPU resource shares for Exchange1 are much lower than the virtual machine's in the resource pool. With its current share settings, this virtual machine will be entitled to 3% of the CPU resources in the pool. Are yousure you want to do this?"
Not sure if this is best practice with SRM to protect via RP or what advantages there might be? Please help.
Just looking for a good explaining of Resource Pools and how to apply.
