Rescan Lun and Add and Remove disk with command line

Hello,

I'm some tests for the removal of the disks and virtual machines from ESX server;

So what e 'command from the command line to perform a rescan of the ESX server?

There are commands to command line to add a virtual disk and is to remove it?

Hi, the command line tool is vmkfstools. You can use the -s option to rescan an HBA. For full command line parameters just run the command with no options or use 'man vmkfstools'

If you have presented your LUN to your ESX servers, using this command should discover it;

esxcfg-rescan vmhba0 (or vmhba1) depending on which HBA you've presented it to.

To remove it, just un-present it and run the same command again.

Now i 'm create the rdm of 50 gb and in to the datastore the space busy is 104.000,00 kb, this volume grows?
