Reg: HA issues

I am having HA issue in my Host server. VMs are not migrating to other host if it goes to standby or Maintenance mode. IF I reboot the host, VMs get migrated to other host..

These are the details gathered from the host.

Apr 7 00:48:18 vmkernel: 0:23:30:14.702 cpu5:1429)WARNING: UserThread: 406: Peer table full for sfcbd

Apr 7 00:48:18 vmkernel: 0:23:30:14.702 cpu5:1429)WARNING: World: vm 443538: 910: init fn user failed with: Out of resources!

Apr 7 00:48:18 vmkernel: 0:23:30:14.702 cpu5:1429)WARNING: World: vm 443538: 1775: WorldInit failed: trying to cleanup.

  • Regularly the ESXi hosts are not responding

  • You will see these messages:

/var/log/vmware/aam/agent/10177970.log:Dump Reason: Backbone panicked: IP_CREATE_THREAD

/var/log/vmware/aam/agent/9391453.log:Dump Reason: Backbone panicked: IP_CREATE_THREAD

ESXi hosts would stop responding in VirtualCenter because they ran out of inodes. The problem occured usually because of the vmx process logging errors in separate files in /tmp/vmware-root and because of extensive VMware HA logging to /var/log/vmware/aam/rule

Please give your valuable input.....
