Receive the following error when logged in to virtual center using web access

I have a user that receives the following error when logged into virtual center using web access. He receives the error when he goes to the "console" tab

of the virtual machine. The user can perform all other funtions except accessing the console. Other users can get into the console fine. It is just this one user.

cannot connect to the virtual machine. error connecting to authd on xxxxx.xxx.xxx.xx (where xxxxx.xxx.xx is the fully qualified DNS name of the ESX host.)

The ESX host is version 3.5 update 4 153875

Virtual Center is version 2.5 build 104215

I am fairly confident that it an issue with the settings on the users web browser (internet explorer 7). Has anyone encountered this before.

On the host with the error run:

service mgmt-vmware restart

Thanks - no luck after issuing the command ( 2 services stopped and started ok)

OK, I know it says web access, but if you do this with VI client do you get the same error? That would help narrow where the problem is..

So the same user on VI using the same console in the same context, does the error still show?
