Rar and unrar in service console?

Does anyone know of an .rpm distribution or a pre-compiled binary of rar and unrar that I can run in the service console? I just grabbed rar for Linux from the rarlabs site and I've no idea what to do with it. It needs to be compiled.

Oops, I was wrong. The Makefile was just a bunch of copy commands to put the binaries into /usr/local/bin. It turns out that the current rar needs libstdc+.so.6 which is not present in 3.5.0 U2. You can go back to rar 3.5.0 which is the newest version that works with libstdc+.so.5 (which is present).

Another option is to use rar_static version 3.6.0 which does not need a c++ library at all. Simply copy it to /usr/local/bin. Anything newer is unsupported by ESX's downlevel linux kernel.

I have installed UNRAR 3.70 beta 4 freeware Copyright (c) 1993-2007 Alexander Roshal. IIRC i searched for a RH3 based RPMs. If you cant find them i'll lock for a copy of the RPM.
