vmware thinks lab manager may be doing this but who the hell knows. They've yet to call me back but I figure someone on here may have experienced it before.
Here's what vmware.log shows me for the individual VMs. We don't use VI Client but I logged in just to see if it throws any error msgs and sure enough, says I can't connect via mkfs or something like that. Wish I had written it down. The console locks up, I can't see the console in vi client or lab manager nor can I ping it. So, I ended up killing the vm manually and was able to start the VMs back up.

You haven't had to change a CPU lately, have you?

Nope, haven't added or replaced any hardware, all "stock."
