RAID 50 - how to set up on MSA1500 using CLI

Hi guys,

I'm doing some tests with MS1500, did somebody set up RAID-50 using CLI ? I can't see MS1500 in ACU, despite I can see it in System Management, so I can't check it using GUI.

Does this Array support RAID 50..?

I think the 1500 utilizes the existing SCSI Drive Controller from the MSA1000

Yes, the MSA1500cs (cs is for Controller Shelf) does use the MSA1000 controller module.

No, it cannot do RAID-50. As far as I can tell, no[/b] SmartArray controller can do RAID-50.
