The two physical cards in the ESX host are both QLE2460 single port PCI-e. Under VIC, the storage adapters show up as a "QLA2432" When I go to Qlogics web site it states."
4Gb VMware Driver 7.08-vm32 QLogic VMware driver included in kernel, automatically loaded upon detection of QLx246x.
A download is not required for this VMware distribution."
Currently both adapter Bios's are at 1.28 BUT version 2.0.2 is available... Should I upgrade? The VMWARE HCL states N/A for Bios Firmare, so does it simply not matter and all should be fine as it is now being detected as QLA2432's?
