Problem with HA Cluster

hello,

I have a problem with configuring two esx 3.5 servers to an HA Cluster.

However only one machine get into HA mode. the other machine stops with the error :cmd removed failed: or :cmd install failed: while configuring for VMware HA.

any ideas?

thanks

One thing I would say is ensure name resolution is configured properly in your enviornment. 3.5 is very particular about naming conventions and name resolution.

You may also want to check out this KB,http://kb.vmware.com/kb/100369 , which could be useful

Hi

Also see this one .. about best practise. etc. --> http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/VMwareHA_twp.pdf

One thing always to remember... FQDN always smallcaps and DNS resolution should work.
