Use fdisk -l
You will see the System tag of 'Extended' that and any partition after it is not a primary partition.

did you try fdisk command?
I tried fdisk -l but still can't see anything with Primary
you must choose which device you want to analyze.
fdisk /dev/sdX
and then press "p" for printing partition table

You can enter parted and then type print to view the primary partitions.
