Port Group Load Balancing

Probably a simple answer to this, but i'll ask anyway.

All my virtual switches have load balancing enabled via the virtual port id. "Which is the config i want" however all port groups within these switches only have link status enabled.

So are the port group settings applied or does the setting on the virtual switch overide this policy?

vswitch policies like teaming are inherited but you can also set specific options on the portgroup aswell... - eg active nic for the portgroup etc

Yeah thats great thanks

So even though the port group does not have the check box enabled, this feature is still enabled due to it being inherited. "Route via virtual switch port is greyed out"
