I have a 2*1 setup with two ESX servers boot from SAN with DS4500.
Currently the port_down_retry count is 14 and i cannot change to any lower value.
I am using CVA for certfication of DS4500.
When i do a sysreboot of one of the controllers(its an active/passive array), the LUNs are not failing over to the other controller. Reboot usually take 30 to 50 seconds.
What should be done to get the LUNs failing over and path change to happen?
