Patching ESX 3.5

Can I patch and reboot ESX host Ver 3.5 with Guest on the host? The guest are in a shutdown state.

Yeah best thing to do is put it in maintenance mode first to make sure all services are shut down. If you don't update manager, otherwise remediate will do all the steps for you.

In case you reboot between the patches make sure the VMs aren't set to autostart (saves some time).
