We started evaluating VM Technology some 3-4 months back. Hence we have some VM Workstations ..some virtualised machine running under VM Player and some VM Machines hosted under freeware VMServer.
Now I installed ESX Server (3.5.0 110268) on a 4-Quad Core IBM Server . I would like to move all my isolated running VM machine under this ESX Server. ESX Server as well as all isolated VM Machine are in the same network, (means I can ping, map drive etc to/of each other VM Machines).
Please suggest the easiest ,most efficient way to do this.
Thanks a lot for all the help.
The easiest way to do this would be to utilize VMware Converter - this will allow you to import all the VMs you have created with workstaion, vmware server and the ones you are running with VMware Player - you can find out mor here -
