Options for migrating vm from VMServer to ESX

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what my options are for moving VM's "vmdk" from VMServer to ESX? I read notes on using vmkfstools, however i am not having any luck with teh tool.

Thanks,

kevin

You need to look at VMware Convertor. It's quite a simple operation and a really useful tool.

I've used VMware converter to complete this task more than once.

It's free, quick and very easy to follow the wizard.

You will want to use the converter tool everyone is talking about. I just used it to move a R/D server running in player into our ESX environment and it worked perfectly. If anything it is a lot cleaner to do it that way.
