One of my host ESX servers does not display the 'Enter Maintenance Mode' command

I have a host ESX server (version/build - 3.02, 61618) that does not offer the 'Enter Maintenance Mode' command. I have fifteen other ESX servers that offer and display that command, but this particular one does not.

What could be going on with ths host?

In fact, when I select the host in VC and look at the summary tab, the only commands displayed are Reboot & Shutdown.

Sometimes you have to login directly to the host, it's a bug in VC, the maintenance mode won't shot.. apparently they STILL have not fixed it in the latest build either..
