Notes Field?

Quick question. When I type text into the notes field it does not actually save my notes. How do I properly add notes to a VM?

After entering the text click in another part of the screen and it will be saved.

What you have to do is click out of the field once you type the text, I usually click on the host name in the summary tab and then it saves it.

Yup I was just typing in the text and then moving to the next machine. This does not save it. I now see the events for reconfiguring the machine when I click on the machine name to the left or another tab on the same machine.

The key saves the text or clicking outside the window like suggested earlier.
