Not able to mount iso/flp from /vmimages

When I edit the config of a VM in VC2.5, connect the cd, and browse the datastore for an image I stored on /vmimages, /vmimages does no longer seem to be visible in the datastore browser, only my VMFS LUN's ...

I would like to use the /vmimages dir to store some simple images, and it used to work that way up to 2.5/3.5

Any hints/ideas?

I have the same problem - right after I upgraded my systems to 3.5/2.5 I can no longer see my vmimages folder in the mount ISO window and VMWare tools do not seem to install automatically. I copied my windows.iso to my ISO folder on a shared SAN LUN but this currently nerfs the automatic tools load function - has anyone else seen this?

Seen this. Connecting directly to an ESX host "fixes" the problem - Still a bug though in my opinion...

hey thats right, good to know!

I did test the auto update of VMWare Tools and it worked fine so its just a viewing issue, not a VC access one.
