You will need to ask HP why it is not listed. Either it is an over sight on their part or it has yet to be tested with the new firmware.

Hello, did you get an answer from HP?

I ran the HP Smart update Manager, after the system scan, it came up with 4 SUSE Linux Enterprise Server updates.....do I go ahead and install this? I could not find a way to pick VMWare updates.

Hello,

HP Firmware and BIOS CD will update the FIrmware and BIOS and not drivers on the system. The only supported HP drivers for ESX are those specifically made for ESX and are limited to the HPASM/HPSMH types.
