I have a W2K server that was converted from physical to virtual. Everything is working perfectly on the converted machine, except backups.
We do not have VCB in place yet. The server is a Netbackup 5.1 client and we left the client software in place. The server backs up to tape normally (observed on the netbackup server activity monitor) but once it is done writing to tape, it stalls and eventually times out. We set the timeout on the client to the max (about 7200 seconds) and it still eventually errors out.
Error bpbrm (PID = xxxx) socket read failed: error = 131 - connection reset by peer
exited with status 13 file read failed
We did not have any problems with backups of this host before it was P2V'd. Anyone have any experience with the likes of this bugger?
