I have configured NTP servers for my ESX boxes inside of the Linux console, but yesterday I noticed that they can also be configured inside of Virtual Center.

(ESX Host -> Configuration -> Time Configuration)

Is one way better than the other?
Thanks

The new way in 3.5 is much easier and reliable. I configured my 3.5 hosts thru the vi client. Date and time have been spot on ever since.
Nice new feature!
I always prefered use command lines instead of GUI, I'm sure of what I am doing !
So ntpdate and step-tickers are your friends
Not better, just easier. But those NTP servers are not valid, those are just examples. I would verify the ip address first, and search for one that you know works correctly. I don't think that one will work.
