I hit "restart guest" on 2008 Server and it will now only boot to recovery mode. I tried to log in locally into recovery and shut down the machine that way. It tells me that
"The guest OS cannot be shut down because VMware Tools is not installed, is not running, or is not responding. Shut down the guest OS from the console. Or, power Off the VM from the context menu or Inventory menu."
VM Tools is installed on this guest and when I do a Power Off and Reboot it will only boot to recovery mode. How do I reboot to the Host OS?
