Moving VMs from VM Server to ESX cluster

Aloha,

I have a host running six XP SP2 VMs under VMWare Server 1.0.5. I want to migrate them to my ESX cluster. What is the most straightforward way to do this??

You don't need the enterprise version, you can use the free version.

You install Vmware Converter on the server that has VMware Server installed, then you can either make it convert the 'physical' machines that are VMs or power down the VMs and get Converter to convert the VMware Server VM files into ESX

Take a look at VMWare Converter. That's what I use to move the VMs from my Server1 dev environment to my ESX production host.

A hui hou, Aloha!
