Hi all!

Was trying to get Nagios to monitor the LUNS, doesnt look to good.

Does anyone else use and tools or apps to monitor the datastore luns?

Any recommendations would be great..

You can use Veeam Monitor 4.0 free edition and it works really good though.

I created a document for monitoring VMFS via Nagios/NRPE a while back:

www.tdonline.com/training/nagios/monitor-vmfs

BTW - the NRPE agent listed there is for ESX 3.5 (x86)

You will need to get the x86_64 equivilant for running on vSphere 4 console (x64)

You can also use check_esx3.pl from op5.com. You can get all kind of info with this check (CPU, net, IO, etc..)
