Hi,
after clone one ESX to create a new one, we missed two licenses of Virtual Agent and when we try to connect the new ESX to the license server we received the message "there's no enough licenses". We have to ESX licenses free but we have the 8 Virtual Agent busy, the problem is that we're using only 6 but it seems that the clone server spend two of this licenses. Someone knows how to revert this licenses from the new servers and free in our Virtual Center?
Thanks
It's a bug here is the workaround:
1. go to the license server
2. in the license server app i click "Reload license file" and stop/start the service
3. go into VC2 and select the ESX server
4. pull off the license so the server is "unlicensed"
5. put the license back on
6. start the VM

Restart the VMware License Service (and Virtual Center Server Service)
This should do the trick
