Missing Extents in VMFS Volume

Hi,

i am experiencing a problem with one of my VMFS volumes. The Volume was created out of 4 250GB Extents. I use a ISCSI Storage and every

Extent has its own LUN. After the creation of a addidtional LUN, something got crashed with my existing VMFS.

Now my ESX detects the VMFS with only one LUN and the other 3 LUNS are missing.

I could add them via "ADD Storage" - but that would reformat them and i will loose my Data.

After researches i found a way to recover a VMFS Bootloader information, but i don't know if this is also possible with Extents?

The LVM resignature option is also not working, because there are no Snapshot LUNs found.

fdsik -lu shows the following:

Open a call to VMware.

I do not know a documented procedure to add and extend without loose data (on the extent partition).

Just to make that clear: I don't want to add AND Extend - ich want to RE-Apply a missing Extent to a VMFS Volume!

I already opened a call (SR 1382195561) - i missed the phone call of the VMware Tech because i was n a meeting -

wrote him a mail with further details and a timeframe when he can get me on the phone - but no reaction from

from VMware since days....bad support here.
