Migrating PKI Cert Server to VMware

Hi,

I'm planning a migration of one of our PKI Cert physical servers.

Has anyone come across any issues migrating a PKI Server before?

Thanks..

Hello,

I have been using a virtualized CA for a while. No issues. I would be surprised if there were issues but this depends entirely on the number of certificates out there and network IO required. You may want to dedicate network just for this if necessary. What is teh network IO of the physical machine? What about CPU, Memory, and DISK IO of the existing machine?

Always do an resource utilization analysis before planning a P2V.
