May 15 ESX Patches - build level reported in VC

Anyone noticed with the latest patches that in VC the build level hasnt changed, while in the service console the vmware -v command shows "VMware ESX Server 3.0.1 build-44686" in virtualcenter it's still showing build 42829.

yes several people have confirmed this. Looks like a regression bug. They fixed this in the last set of patches, and it was reintroduced in the may 15 set.

This problem hasn't gone away for us after applying the July patches?

Anybody else seen this? Is this still a known bug after the 3 July patches?

Just finished patching my DR site for the July patches and I'm seeing that the BUILD NUMBER did not increment in Virtual center but it does show at the CLI
