Maximum vSwitches on a Single ESX Server VI3 Host?

Hi,

I'm looking at two VMware PDFs. The first is vi3_server_config.pdf and the second is vi3_301_201_config_max.pdf.

On page 23 of vi3_server_config.pdf it states "NOTE: You can create a maximum of 248 vSwitches on a single host".

On page 3 of vi3_301_201_config_max.pdf under "Table 5. Network Maximums" it states: "Number of virtual switches 127"

Which one of these is correct?

Thanks!

John

As described in this thread, one is the maximum possible and 127 is the maximum supported.

I think i remember seeing that setup only accepts 127 vswitches, but I think it is the 248, but don't quote me.
